With the addition of López Acosta, Verduzco, Briseño y Cía, S.C. as its member firm in Mexico's second city, Guadalajara, the Russell Bedford network of accounting firms now covers the country's three main commercial centres.
The Guadalajara firm was founded in 1986 by two of the current partners, J. Ernesto López Acosta and Andrés Verduzco Cota. A third partner, Hiram Briseño, joined the firm in 1990.
López Acosta, Verduzco, Briseño y Cía seeks to offer quality services to Mexican and international companies who are looking for truly client-focused advice and support in any of the industrial, commercial and services sectors. The firm is professionally structured to provide a broad range of services: fiscal and legal consultancy, merger and acquisition support, corporate acquisition due diligence, support to family owned businesses during intergenerational transition, human resources consultancy and accounting. The latter involves offering support to small and medium sized businesses in obtaining government consents and registrations, as well as providing an outsourced accounting service until such time as the client company can establish its own accounting department.
The firm has a professional staff of 20 public accountants, allowing it to serve more than one hundred firms at the same time, including companies from countries such us the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
